What is the role?

As a Facility Operations Manager at US Bitcoin, you'll be at the forefront of our mining operation, ensuring that our critical infrastructure is running 24/7. You'll be responsible for overseeing all routine and preventive maintenance activities, building and training a team of technicians, and using your expertise to keep our equipment running at peak efficiency. From new generation computers to sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems, you'll be working with some of the most advanced equipment the field has to offer. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the facility's operations, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Mentor, train, and develop technicians so that they can support daily operations with minimal supervision
  • Manage and facilitate purchasing and inventory control across all facility assets and equipment
  • Manage relationships with key energy partners
  • Effectively identify and resolve time sensitive issues under pressure
  • Manage facility budgets and all related KPI's and performance targets
  • Create, manage, and execute on preventative maintenance plans for facility equipment
  • Manage and continually develop critical vendor and contractor relationships
  • Spearhead fixes and improvements with other departments such as IT, HR, Networking, and Software
  • Promote and maintain a culture centered around merit based recognition and rewards
  • Promote safety, security and compliance in all aspects of facility operations
  • And other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a critical infrastructure environment (related military experience would be considered)
  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred
  • Strong leadership qualities and hands on technical experience
  • Understanding of office programs and computer hardware
  • Experience with commercial mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience with IT related infrastructure maintenance is desired, but can be acquired
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus+
