Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Payroll/HR Specialist based in Spain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Spanish payroll and HR processes, and experience with payroll software implementation and management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle payroll processing, compliance with local labor laws, and provide HR support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and other compensation elements.
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll processing complies with Spanish labor laws and regulations, including IRPF (Income Tax), Seguridad Social (Social Security), and other statutory requirements.
  • HR Support: Assist with HR functions such as employment contracts, employee records, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Software Implementation: Setup and manage our internal payroll software, ensuring seamless integration with existing HR systems.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit required payroll reports to relevant government agencies, including Modelo 111 and 190 declarations.
  • Employee Assistance: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and HR in Spain.
  • Proficiency with Spanish payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
