About the role:
As a Community Manager on the Developer Relations team at Hashgraph, you'll be responsible for nurturing and growing the Hedera developer and user communities. You'll create and manage spaces where developers and users can connect, learn, and provide feedback. You will help the Developer Relations team build strong relationships across the network and support a vibrant, active ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of technology and community engagement, requiring both a technical understanding of the Hedera tech stack and excellent communication skills. You'll work with technical DevRel team members to ensure the community's voice is heard and considered in the development of Hedera's open-source platform.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of a community hub that serves as a central resource for developers and community members
- Coordinating and hosting regular technical and general community calls along with Q&A sessions to facilitate knowledge sharing and gather feedback
- Designing and executing community surveys in a collaborative manner to gather insights and measure community satisfaction
- Enabling community members and Hashgraph colleagues to share their work and thought leadership via content on the Hedera channels
- Managing online community forums and spaces where developers can connect and collaborate
- Collaborating with technical DevRel members to create community-focused content and initiatives
- Tracking community metrics and providing regular reports on community health and engagement
- Identifying and nurturing community champions and advocates
- Representing community needs and feedback to internal teams
- Organizing virtual and in-person community events to drive deeper connections with the community
Qualification Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in direct community management and contributions, preferably in developer-focused environments
- Experience managing online communities through forums, Discord, Telegram, X or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate virtual meetings or events
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with community members
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and using community management tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address community concerns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Solid understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems, Web3, and Hedera concepts
- Familiarity with EVM-compatible platforms
- Spanish proficiency to engage professionally with developers and users in the Latin American and Spain communities
- Knowledge of community analytics tools and methodologies
- Content creation skills (writing, video, podcasting)
- Experience with community governance models
- Event planning and management experience
