Senior Manager of Communications & Content

Key Responsibilities
- Content & Strategy Creation:
- Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Create and manage long-form content (blogs, newsletters, editorials) and short-form content (social media, product messaging).
- Build thought leadership narratives that position Superstate as an industry leader.
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging across all external communications.
- PR & Media Relations:
- Work with journalists, craft compelling pitches, and identify strong media opportunities.
- Develop press materials and help drive coverage for key announcements.
- Ensure consistency in public messaging and brand positioning.
- Event & Speaker Programming:
- Own speaker submission processes for industry events and conferences.
- Develop and curate programming for Superstate-led events, workshops, and panels.
- Identify high-value speaking and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Startup Agility & Cross-Functional Support:
- Be ready to jump in wherever needed—whether it’s supporting marketing initiatives, refining investor-facing materials, or collaborating with product and business development teams.
- Operate in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment where priorities shift quickly.
- Balance high-quality execution with speed—get things done without over-processing.
What We’re Looking For
- 6-8 years of experience in content, communications, PR, or related roles.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial and crypto concepts.
- A solid grasp of crypto and/or finance—deep knowledge in at least one is essential.
- Experience working directly with media and press, including pitching, media outreach, and PR strategy. Ideally comes with an existing rolodex of contacts.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a consistent voice and messaging across multiple channels.
- Experience creating and curating social media content for various platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)
- Prior experience in event programming, securing speaking engagements, and curating industry conversations a plus.
- Startup mentality—comfortable wearing multiple hats, shifting priorities, and operating with urgency when needed.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute both strategic and tactical work.
