To ensure effective collaboration and seamless communication across our global team, all candidates must be available to overlap with the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone for at least 3 hours during regular business hours. This requirement is essential for maintaining efficient workflow, participating in team meetings, and facilitating timely responses to customer inquiries and internal requests.
About the role:
As an Operations Manager at our company, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the smooth functioning of various corporate functions. Working in collaboration with the SVP of Operations, you will be responsible for formulating and executing operational strategies to support the growth and success of the organization. Your expertise in project management, finance, efficiency, and vendor oversight will be essential in achieving operational efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy: Partner with the SVP of Operations to formulate and drive operational strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Project Management Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of company-wide projects. Oversee the development of comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Implement RISC Zero operational efficiency and productivity initiatives across corporate functions holding individuals, teams, and their managers accountable for defined KPIs and other measures of success. Continually provide strategic insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Finance and Accounting: Take ownership of overseeing payroll, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial management. Provide strategic input on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
  • Procurement, Vendor, and Technology Oversight: Develop and oversee the procurement, vendor, and technology processes. Develop strategies for vendor selection, procurement, and performance evaluation.
  • Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning: Partner with the Security team in the implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies, including business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts. Ensure all regulatory compliance matters are addressed effectively.
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in SaaS, Web3, and other related operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations at a technology company and start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of operations management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Web3 native experience is greatly preferred
