Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope. This role is eligible for additional performance-based compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
The Firm
Paradigm is a San Francisco-based investment firm focused on crypto and blockchain-related technologies across the globe. We make investments in companies and protocols at all stages including early-stage venture financing rounds, growth equity, and liquid token assets. Paradigm was co-founded in 2018 by Matt Huang (former partner at Sequoia Capital) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase). The Role
We’re looking for an Office Manager to support the working environment for the brilliant minds of Paradigm’s SF office. This person would be responsible for day to day office operations for our 3 floors, including vendor management and ensuring a safe and productive working environment. We expect someone in this role to display a high degree of professionalism, the ability to exercise good judgment and bring a problem solving approach to any challenge.
This person would join our high-performing admin team and would report to People Operations. The admin team today serves as the air traffic control group that helps Paradigm succeed, in addition to being guardians of Paradigm’s team culture.
While Paradigm is currently a hybrid firm, with employees coming on Monday-Wednesday, this role would be expected to be onsite Monday through Friday. This is to ensure a well-maintained office environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the receptionists in the San Francisco office, working to provide an excellent overall office experience
Collaborate with property management, facilities and other office-related vendors to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment
Ensure timely processing of work orders, and ensure follow-up with building management
Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
Lead the meal delivery / catering program
Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems: think outside the box and set the standard for expansive thinking
Manage and support requests from employees with a positive attitude
Work in collaboration with our Office Admin in NY and help to maintain support for our DC office
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred and relevant work experience (4+ years in an office coordination role)
Evidence of grit: the ability to adapt and overcome in rapidly changing situations
Excellent written and oral communication; diplomatic and professional demeanor at all times
Fluent in Google office platforms and Microsoft Office, with a proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple stakeholders, functions, and tasks

Compensation Range: $135K - $150K
