Paradigm is a San Francisco-based investment firm focused on crypto and blockchain-related technologies across the globe. Paradigm was co-founded in 2018 by Matt Huang (former partner at Sequoia Capital) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase). The Role
We’re looking for a receptionist to support the working environment for the brilliant minds of Paradigm’s San Francisco office. This person would be responsible for front desk management and day to day office operations including ensuring a safe and productive working environment, signing in and greeting guests. We expect someone in this role to be a self-starter, display a high degree of professionalism, the ability to exercise good judgment and bring a problem solving approach to any challenge.
This person would join our high-performing admin team, reporting into the Head of Admin Operations. The admin team today serves as the air traffic control group that helps Paradigm succeed, in addition to being guardians of Paradigm’s team culture.
While Paradigm is a hybrid firm, with employees coming in Monday-Wednesday, this role would be expected to be onsite Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate across Admin team: Collaborate with the SF Office Manager to provide an excellent overall office experience.
Front desk & guest experience: Manage the reception area, greet guests and employees, and ensure a positive first impression
Access & Security: Oversee guest access, work with building management to create key cards and maintain frequent key card audits.
Office & Facilities Management: Maintain clean workstations, conference rooms and common spaces. Coordinate with property management, facilities and vendors to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment. Ensure fridges, pantries and supply closets are fully stocked.
Mail & Supplies: Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries. Manage office supplies and ensure inventory is stocked and place orders as necessary
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, thinking proactively to elevate efficiency and experience.
Administrative Support: Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as needed to support management and departmental operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience
Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask
Evidence of grit: the ability to adapt and overcome in rapidly changing situations
Excellent written and oral communication; diplomatic and professional demeanor at all times
Fluent in Google office platforms and Microsoft Office, with a proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple stakeholders, functions, and tasks

Compensation Range: $100K - $115K
