Paradigm is a research-driven crypto investment firm that funds companies and protocols from their earliest stages, often when there’s no more than an idea.

We were founded in 2018 by Matt Huang (former Partner at Sequoia Capital) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase) on the belief that crypto is driving one of the most important technical and economic shifts of our time, as money, a financial system, and a new internet platform.

We’re builders, not just investors. Many of us have worked on tools, protocols, and companies that are now some of the most used in crypto. We build software, much of it open source, that aims to advance the frontier of crypto for everyone. When you join our operations team, you’ll move the needle with targeted, crypto-adapted expertise and resources at the most high leverage moments.

Paradigm is based in San Francisco with offices in New York and Washington D.C.. We have over $10 billion in assets under management across our three funds.

Position Summary

Paradigm is currently seeking a Content Strategy Lead to help curate and produce content generated by our Investment and Research team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will focus on creating a support system and creative engine for content ranging from technical and research deep-dives to portfolio company announcements and X/Twitter posts. The Content Strategy Lead will have deep storytelling intuition, high quality standards, and the ability to adapt to various styles and formats. Rather than develop one voice, the opportunity is to work with some of the brightest minds and companies in crypto to help each find and amplify their unique style. You will be native to X, have a deep understanding of community and ecosystem building, with interests in expanding into new formats.

Responsibilities

  • Become a central resource and “producer” for Paradigm’s X/Farcaster strategy and support our Investing and Research team’s presence

  • Build a support system and creative engine for our portfolio companies as they navigate news, announcements and issues on X and beyond

  • Build systems and/or hire resources to effectively launch new content formats; including structures like editorial calendars that increase speed, consistency and impact across a variety of people, events and content types

  • Support and mentor the broader Paradigm team to drive quality and impact on social and in the content we create for our blog and events

  • Partner with design and IT to drive quality and efficiency of publishing tools/formats on our website and as new content formats are explored; support IT with staging, formatting and editing of posts for the website

  • Scale our data-driven storytelling and uncover ways to test approaches that drive impact

  • Develop and lead baseline strategy and voice on networks where we have a presence outside of Twitter; help test, own and stand up new formats

Qualifications and Attributes

  • 5-10+ years experience working across content types with deep intuition and pulse on crypto Twitter and/or frontier technologies

  • Thrives in an always-on production environment to curate and pull the best out of many types of creative and technical minds in both support and curation/creation role

  • Loves a substance-first approach to content; ability to unpack the truth over the hype – can move past the jargon

  • Optimism and vision for crypto and the role of frontier technologies

  • Experience leading social strategy and/or content and editorial teams at a firm, in-house or in a fast-paced media environment

  • High agency and entrepreneurial approach; can keep things moving with minimal guidance

  • High intuition for recognizing emergent trends and interpreting and using data; both to measure effectiveness and as a tool in storytelling

  • Familiarity with measurement and sourcing tools like CreatorIQ or similar
