About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Director of Tokenisation to join our dynamic team. As a Product Director of Tokenisation, you will be responsible for driving product growth and execution of our crypto-related products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to define product strategy, prioritize features, and deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, possess strong data analytical and communication skills, and be passionate about driving innovation in the crypto industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the overarching product strategy and vision for tokenization offerings, with a wide spectrum of different traditional assets such as equity, money fund or exotic real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategic objectives.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team from the ground up, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages professional growth and excellence in product delivery.
- Partnership: Identify the key partners in the industry and achieve the business goals together.
- End-to-End Product Oversight: Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive product strategies, guiding the creation, issuance, and distribution of tokenized securities to meet market demands and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for all tokenization-related initiatives, collaborating with fund issuers, administrators, and internal teams to streamline the tokenization process and address complex stakeholder needs.
- Technical and Functional Design Leadership: Direct the technical and functional design of tokenized securities, working closely with blockchain developers, engineers, and legal experts to ensure robust and compliant tokenization frameworks.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the lifecycle management of tokenization products, from ideation and design through to launch, optimization, and scaling, ensuring alignment with market trends and client feedback.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, fund issuers, and administrators, ensuring that tokenization solutions are tailored to meet their specific requirements and enhance client satisfaction.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on tokenization, providing strategic guidance to clients on the benefits, risks, and implementation of tokenized securities and RWAs, while promoting thought leadership within the industry.
- Collaboration for Adoption: Partner with internal teams to drive the adoption of tokenized products through effective communication strategies and support during client onboarding and product rollout.
- Platform Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous evolution of OKX's RWA platform, ensuring it effectively supports the distribution of tokenized RWAs and adheres to regulatory and operational requirements, including cross-border considerations.
What We Look For In You:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in product management, emphasizing blockchain, tokenization, digital assets, or financial products.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing tokenization projects or digital securities products, especially related to real-world assets (RWAs).
- Preferred knowledge of financial products such as money market funds, asset-backed securities, or other conventional financial instruments.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, token economics, and the tokenization process.
- Awareness of global financial markets and regulations, particularly in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US.
