This role is full-time, preferably located in NYC. Open to remote for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

Moonshot is looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to take full ownership of Moonshot’s paid acquisition across all major platforms. This role blends creative strategy, media buying, and performance optimization. You’ll be responsible for ideating new ad concepts, driving creative production, launching and scaling winning campaigns, and ensuring we maintain strong, profitable growth with the lowest CAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and Google App Campaigns

  • Work with growth team on new creative concepts, angles, and hooks for ad content

  • Manage ongoing production of new ads (short-form video, static, etc.)

  • Launch, optimize, and scale campaigns to hit CAC/ROAS targets, while being mindful of compliance obligations

  • Build and maintain testing frameworks across creative, audiences, and bidding

  • Analyze performance data and report insights + next steps weekly

  • Maintain a steady pipeline of creative experiments and rapid iterations

What We Look For in You

  • 5+ years running performance marketing for consumer apps

  • Deep hands-on experience with Meta, TikTok, ASA, and Google App Campaigns

  • Proven track record of moving acquisition metrics, not just managing spend

  • Strong creative instincts with an eye for high-performing ad concepts

  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with constant experimentation

  • Ability to use data and attribution tools to guide decisions

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in fintech, creator economy, or mobile-first consumer apps

  • Familiarity with MMPs (Appsflyer) and analytics platforms

  • Ability to script or storyboard ads directly
