We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the HR Operations Specialist, supporting a seamless employee lifecycle experience and contributing to various HR projects. This role provides exposure to key HR functions, including benefits, payroll, compensation, immigration, global mobility, HRIS, and employee relations. The HR Operations Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like talent acquisition, talent development, legal, compliance, and business leaders, as well as with external vendors.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-End APAC Payroll Management: Manage ongoing payroll operations across APAC in partnership with external vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous process improvement to support an efficient employee experience.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration across APAC, including employee queries, enrollments and changes, coordination with brokers and vendors, and annual renewals, while maintaining accurate records and a positive employee experience.
- HRIS Management: Manage HRIS transactions and employee data in Workday, ensuring accurate lifecycle processing, strong data integrity, effective downstream payroll support, and continuous improvement of HR processes and data flows.
- Employee Experience: Partner with the global people operations team to continuously improve the full employee lifecycle, managing key processes such as contract renewals, reference checks, VOE issuance, and support for Shanghai Hukou applications.
- Data Integrity & Audits: Conduct HR data audits, maintain physical personnel files (P-files), respond to general HR inquiries, and validate employee data within Workday.
- Policy Maintenance: Update regional employee handbooks on the Company Intranet (Confluence) as policies evolve.
- Compliance Research: Research and ensure compliance with employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Confidentiality: Protect company information by maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Take entrepreneurship to identify opportunities where we can do things differently.

Skills You’ll Need:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a strong academic record and at least 3 years in HR operations, payroll, benefits, or a related area.
- HRIS Knowledge: Familiarity with HR systems like Workday, Ultimate Software, PeopleSoft, or Greenhouse.
- Benefits Knowledge: Understanding of benefit plan principles and relevant laws.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Tech-Savvy & Curious: Interest in workflow automation and a proactive approach to technology.
- Project Management Skills: Background in process improvement and project management.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Creative problem-solver with resilience to change, able to adapt to ad hoc situations.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with various management levels and functions.
- Self-Motivated & Independent: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
