Our Global Mobility team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, supporting complex immigration and relocation strategies around the globe. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Immigration Partner to join our Chicago or New York office. This role will report to the Immigration Counsel and will partner with the Global Mobility and People Operations teams to manage our high-volume permanent resident caseload, including both US permanent residency and UK ILR cases.

The ideal candidate has strong immigration experience in either an in-house or law firm setting and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage our permanent residency caseload (all stages) of US Green Card and UK ILR cases, including all US PERM EB-2 & EB-3, NIW, EB-1A & EB-1B, I-140, I-485, and consular processes.
  • Partner with internal technology experts to create automated tracking, reporting, and workflow solutions
  • Analyze and share case data, patterns, and timelines and ensure cases remain on competitive and efficient timelines.
  • Maintain and recommend updates to the permanent residency immigration policies and exception guidelines globally.
  • Create/maintain a library of common job descriptions and requirements for commonly sponsored positions, partnering with People Ops to ensure updates as needed.
  • Coordinate with employees, Global Mobility, PeopleOps, and management to strategize and provide updates on immigration cases and trends.
  • Work with external law firms to ensure timely and strategic handling of cases.
  • Assist Global Mobility team with other areas of cross-coverage as needed, including non-immigrant visa initiation and guidance, travel visas, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years of experience managing immigrant visa processes, including US PERM EB-2/3, EB-1A/B, NIW, I-140, I-485, and consular processing.
  • Experience with US non-immigrant visas, including F-1 CPT and OPT, H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, J-1, and related stamping requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with experience explaining complex legal matters in a manner that is easy to comprehend.
  • Strong Excel skills and a passion for reporting data trends and automation
  • Curiosity and a desire to proactively collaborate across multiple teams
  • Ability to operate independently while handling ad hoc situations

Annual Base Salary Range
$125,000$150,000 USD
