Our Client Market Making business provides clients with direct access to liquidity across a wide range of asset classes, powered by proprietary pricing and trading systems. We’re looking for a resourceful, product-minded UI/UX Developer to build internal trading tools used by traders and operators in real time. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working directly with business stakeholders, moving quickly in small iterations, and building products that solve immediate needs while evolving into scalable platforms.
What you'll do:
  • Build high-performance, mission critical UI applications for real-time trading workflows.
  • Partner directly with traders, operators, and business stakeholders to understand pain points, define priorities, and shape the product roadmap.
  • Deliver value in small, fast, feedback-driven iterations rather than large, slow releases.
  • Take an entrepreneurial, ownership-driven approach: identify opportunities, prototype quickly, and drive solutions from idea to production.
  • Design products with a platform mindset, creating pluggable workflows, reusable UX patterns, and extensible architectures.
  • Balance short-term business needs with longer-term abstraction and reuse — knowing when to solve something specifically and when to generalize.
  • Contribute across the stack when needed, including APIs and backend integrations.
  • Debug and resolve production issues with urgency and strong root-cause analysis.
  • Help improve architecture, performance, usability, and reliability across the trading tools suite.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills you'll need
  • At least 4 years of front-end development experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies.
  • At least 4 years of experience with React or similar frameworks, ideally for real-time, streaming, or data-heavy applications.
  • Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders and turning ambiguous requirements into shipped solutions.
  • Clear evidence of resourcefulness, ownership, and entrepreneurial problem-solving.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, iterative environments such as fintech, startups, or agile product teams.
  • Ability to think of a product as a platform; building modular, extensible systems with reusable workflows and UX.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and chaos, while bringing structure, prioritization, and momentum.
  • Exposure to backend development using Python, Golang, or similar languages.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API design, testing, maintainability, and scalable architecture.
  • Deep understanding of core CS and web concepts, with the judgment to choose the right tools for the job.
  • Strong grasp of browser/runtime behavior, networking, data structures, performance tradeoffs, and real-time application design
  • Ability to build for low-latency, high-accuracy, mission-critical use cases, where off-the-shelf web libraries are not always enough.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.

You’ll Stand Out If You:

  • Think like a builder, not just an implementer.
  • Can move from a one-off workflow to a reusable platform capability.
  • Know when to leverage a framework and when to build something lighter or more specialized.
  • Care deeply about product outcomes, not just code delivery.
