Event Marketing Lead

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE:
- Spearhead IoTeX / MachineFi strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events, internal team training for attendees (elevator pitch, demos, etc.), maintain pre- and post-show communication, and event attendance.
- Oversee the design and build of new Event Showcase, ensuring this build is malleable in construction so as to enable contextually relevant delivery and build expansion.
- Manage the delivery of every event through our Event Management process, which we expect you to build on and further develop.
- Work with Marketing & Business Development to organize and staff events, briefing and educating teams prior to attendance, so as to ensure a unified narrative is being adopted and delivered.
- Work with Tech Teams & Partners to ensure our latest products and technologies are being showcased and experienced in the best possible light.
- Work with Business Development to develop event strategy and objectives; spearhead initiatives to meet objectives based on lead generation, customer advocacy, and more.
- Negotiate and execute contracts for large- and small-scale events.
- Travel frequently – up to 50 percent of your time will be spent traveling to various events.
- Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics using CRM, email marketing, project management, and similar systems.
- Grow and Manage a team of event marketing specialists.
- Build relationships with IoTeX & MachineFi prospects on a one-to-one basis.
- Deliver IoTeX/MachineFi presentation at events if key people cannot attend.
- Run at-event workshops, showcasing our latest technologies.
- Organize the most relevant on-brand side events.
- Interact with key decision makers and account-holders.
- Work with in-house designers to ensure the event display accurately represents our brand.
- Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory including collateral, giveaways. Maintain our swag store (online) and ensure every event always has the correct and optimum amount of swag.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline.
- 5+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in event marketing.
- Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, including event/trade show planning, attendance, and reporting.
- Experience partnering with an enterprise/ BD team.
- Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and onsite personnel.
- Impeccable communication skills – written and oral.

- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are creative, innovative, and always think outside the box.
- Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time.
- You are metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data.

- Capable of standing comfortably for up to eight hours a day, working long hours, and traveling frequently.
