GEODNET's global network of RTK stations complement on-device sensors such as Cameras, LiDAR, and IMU's to power AI-based Autonomous Systems with accurate real-time 3D localizationAs we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong technical foundation to join our team and drive sales efforts by providing expert knowledge and support to prospective clients.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer who can blend their technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills to help expand GEODNET's client base. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, understanding their technical needs, and providing tailored solutions that integrate our GNSS and roboticssystems. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, confident, and resilient in handling rejection while maintaining a positive attitude and a solutions-driven approach. 33% travel is required for client meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events. When not traveling, the position will require you to be onsite at our office.
Key Responsibilities:
· Introduce customers to GEODNET RTK Services via online presentation and in-person travel to present GEODNET in person.
· Attend tradeshow exhibitions and meet customers at tradeshows
· Contact new potential customers using LinkedIn
· Demonstrate GEODNET in-action, answer technical questions, note objections, and perform basic training on GEODNET’s API
· Analyze customer requirements and demonstrate how GEODNET meets requirements thru written technical proposals
· Prepare quotes and follow-up with customers regularly using HubSpot
· Maintain regional and market segment sales forecast in HubSpot
· Consolidate leads from online ads, tradeshows, and cold calls into HubSpot
Qualifications:
· 4-year Engineering Degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
· Willingness to Travel up to 33%, including International Travel
· Practical Experience with Robotics and Drones
· Clear Verbal and Written English Language Communications skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HubSpot.
- Familiarity with robotics, IoT, or autonomous systems.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques, such as solution selling or consultative selling.
