And this is just the beginning…
About the role
Build intuitive, secure DeFi experiences on top of our permissioned blockchain and DEX. You’ll ship user-facing features—swap, liquidity, portfolio, and settlement dashboards—while integrating directly with Hyperledger Fabric services and market data feeds. You balance delightful UX with production-grade security, accessibility, and compliance.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end features: design, implement, and ship trading and wallet workflows (swap, add/remove liquidity, order/history, settlement status).
- Integrate on-chain: call Fabric gateways/SDKs, consume chaincode events, and surface finality/status with clear error and retry semantics.
- Build data-rich UIs: stream real-time order books, trades, and price/fee signals via WebSocket; render responsive, accessible charts and tables.
- API & SDK: design/maintain a thin Node.js backend that aggregates DEX APIs, market data, and blockchain events for low-latency views.
- Security & privacy by design: protect keys/sessions, implement strong authN/Z, prevent common web vulns, and uphold PII minimization.
- Compliance-aware UX: incorporate eligibility checks, disclosures, audit trails, and in-app explanations that reduce user error and operational risk.
- Quality discipline: unit/integration/e2e tests, feature flags, canaries, metrics, and structured logging.
- Use AI to speed UI copy, test generation, and integration scaffolding, while enforcing human review for correctness, accessibility, and compliance before release.
- Collaboration: partner with Wallet, Smart-Contract, Data, and SRE to plan, instrument, and iterate; write crisp RFCs and user-facing documentation.
Tech You’ll Use
- Frontend: TypeScript, React/Next.js, state management, component libraries, charting; WebSockets.
- On-chain integration: Fabric Gateway/SDKs, chaincode event subscriptions, idempotent transaction flows.
- APIs & data: Node.js/Express/Fastify, GraphQL/REST, streaming market data; interacts with internal services backed by Kafka, ClickHouse, Postgres/MySQL.
- Tooling: Jest/Playwright/Cypress, Vite/Webpack, GitHub Actions, Docker/Kubernetes.
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years building production web apps; 2+ years in trading/fintech/crypto or similarly high-throughput, low-latency products.
- Expert TypeScript and React skills; strong UX instincts and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) practices
- Experience integrating complex backends (streaming data, paginated/history APIs, auth) into reliable, resilient UIs.
- Solid grasp of security (OWASP top 10, CSP, CSRF, token handling) and privacy basics; habit of building with auditability.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts (finality, events, identities) and eagerness to master Hyperledger Fabric patterns
- Clear communication, product sense, and a bias for measurable outcomes.
Nice to Have
- Prior DeFi/DEX work (AMMs, order books, routing, slippage/price impact, fee tiers).
- Data-viz depth (time-series charts, order book depth, latency-sensitive UI).
- Experience with feature flags/experimentation and telemetry (OpenTelemetry).
- Mobile-responsive or React Native experience for wallet-adjacent flows.
Work Style & Time Zones
- Remote-first; meaningful overlap with US business hours expected, restrictions on some countries
- Light on-call participation for critical user journeys with documented runbooks.
