About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team at Gala Games. The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure and automation background and possess expertise in tools such as AWS, CDK or Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo or Flux, and CI/CD systems like GitLab or GitHub. If you are passionate about revolutionizing the gaming industry and have a proven track record in infrastructure engineering, we want to hear from you!

You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of entertainment. The ideal candidate has prior blockchain experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Supporting automated GitOps workflows for services and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure as code practices using
  Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Implement and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure engineering
• On-call support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
  experience).
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, with a focus on platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in CDK or Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong proficiency in Argo or Flux.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
