A key part of the ever-evolving solution is the payments engine, centered around building a scalable and resilient infrastructure for payment workflows, integrations and tracking layer for the 40+ (and growing) blockchains, networks, and protocols we support.

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide all R&D activities of the payments teams
  • Leads the design, build, and management of a secure, scalable and resilient payment engine infrastructure
  • Initiate and implement enterprise architecture best practices
  • Plays a mentorship role to engineering personnel, constantly promoting best practices and improvement in their professional skills
  • Collaborate with product management and other Fireblocks units to define, prioritize and execute the unit roadmap

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical certificate
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles, involving Full-stack or backend experience at scale, working within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
  • At least 3 years of experience managing 2+ engineering teams, leading teams to deliver enterprise products
  • Demonstrate strong system-level troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to identify and resolve high-level scalability and performance issues
  • Experience in designing scalable architectures based on cloud providers
  • Strong communication skills in a highly collaborative environment
  • High Analytical and troubleshooting skills - ability to solve complex problems
