Job Description

The Director of Business Development will spearhead revenue growth by identifying and pursuing lucrative opportunities with institutional investors, financial firms, cryptocurrency organizations, and individual investors across the US and Europe. This senior role demands a strategic mind combined with strong sales acumen and expertise in digital assets.

The ideal candidate will leverage their professional network and deep domain knowledge to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across businesses and individual clients. They will effectively communicate the value proposition of our flagship Delphi Pro product suite for both B2B and B2C sales. This role requires a proven ability to build trust with sophisticated clients, understand their unique needs, and craft tailored solutions.

The Director will own the full sales cycle - from initial prospecting and lead qualification through contract negotiation and closing deals. Responsibilities include developing targeted outreach strategies, delivering persuasive presentations, and managing a robust pipeline to meet revenue goals. Exceptional communication, consultative selling skills, and meticulous follow-through are essential.

The Director will be responsible for shaping sales processes and implementing best practices. They will also build a high-performing sales team over time. Frequent travel across the U.S. for industry events is expected.

Job Responsibilities

  • 4+ years of experience selling products or services to institutional investors, financial firms, crypto organizations, and/or high net worth individuals
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals across various client types
  • Deep expertise in cryptocurrencies and digital assets - a "crypto native" with an extensive professional network across the industry
  • Proven ability to build trust with sophisticated clients, understand diverse needs, and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Strong consultative selling skills and experience owning the full sales cycle end-to-end
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial - ability to thrive independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. and Europe for industry events and networking opportunities
  • Results-driven mindset with a history of consistently achieving and surpassing targets
