We’re looking for a Director of Compliance who wants to pioneer the fusion of regulatory compliance with groundbreaking innovations in the web3 space.
You will join striving to blend traditional compliance with future-oriented product strategies, ensuring that Dapper Labs remains a trusted name in the crypto and blockchain industry.
In this role, you can expect to drive the balance between safeguarding our users and ensuring that our products are built within the evolving regulatory landscape, all while fostering an environment of innovation and creativity.
What we'll accomplish together:
- Drive Innovative Compliance: You'll merge regulatory compliance with cutting-edge web3 innovations. Be the architect of a compliance framework that's ahead of its time, ensuring Dapper Labs remains at the forefront of the crypto and blockchain sector.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage a small and dynamic compliance team. Foster their skills, building a culture of excellence in compliance, and prepare for scalable future growth.
- Hands-On Leadership: Be prepared to dive into day-to-day tasks, setting a high standard and leading by example. Ensure compliance procedures are not just documented, but effectively implemented and proactively managed.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, embedding compliance into our products, and harmonizing creativity with regulation. Your insights will be crucial in guiding our Product and Engineering teams.
- Training and Governance: Design impactful training programs and governance frameworks, including KPI/KRI metrics.

- Expert in Compliance: Deep knowledge in BSA, AML, OFAC, and the broader regulatory landscape, especially in the US, Canada, EU, and UK.
- Crypto/Web3 Enthusiast: You are ambitious, proactive, and excited about the future of digital assets and blockchain technology.
- Communicative Clarity: Ability to simplify complex compliance regulations for diverse audiences.
- Detail-Oriented and Strategic: Expert in setting up compliant procedures, policy drafting, and managing comprehensive audits.
