We are seeking a forward-looking business strategist at the Associate level to help identify, evaluate, and drive new business opportunities across the firm. As part of our growing Global Strategy team, you will partner with a diverse set of trading businesses to shape and execute key firm-wide initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, cross-asset visibility, and the opportunity to help build the future of the firm. The position will be based in Chicago, Singapore or London with periodic travel to other DRW offices as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, define, and support execution of strategic priorities in close partnership with DRW leadership
  • Deliver data-driven business planning recommendations to senior leaders, including detailed annual plans and resource requirements
  • Analyze market opportunities using firm data, external sources, and financial modeling
  • Develop a strong understanding of market structure and market infrastructure across asset classes in the relevant region
  • Identify partnership opportunities and drive commercial improvements in collaboration with business leaders
  • Build relationships across trading groups to surface opportunities and help shape expansion strategies
  • Build relationships across trading groups to identify opportunities and use our unique capabilities to expand into new or incremental opportunities
  • Contribute to and advise internal committees responsible for key growth initiatives


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally at a leading Proprietary Trading Firm, Hedge Fund, Investment Bank, or Trading Venue.
  • Exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and frame complex issues.
  • Experience performing data driven analysis and financial modeling
  • Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively leverage data to analyze and quantify new business opportunities
  • Excellent verbal, writing and presentation communication skills
  • Bilingual in a local language is a plus (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean)
