Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review the quarterly and annual US income tax provisions in accordance with ASC740 and IFRS, including deferred tax calculation, rate reconciliation, tax accounts reconciliation, and recording tax entries.
- Review detailed workpapers to support federal and state income tax compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and manage quarterly federal and state income tax estimates and extensions, ensuring making timely tax payments.
- Oversee tax-related data collection and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Work closely with finance, treasury, and transfer pricing teams to ensure accurate data flow for tax compliance and provision calculations.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues, including federal and state income tax regulations, and prepare memoranda to support tax positions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise on impacts.
- Assist with other special projects and process improvements.
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience with public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department in a public company
- Strong background in ASC740 and IFRS tax accounting and reporting
- Proven experience with managing complex US federal and state tax matters.
- Experience with managing tax matters in multiple countries is preferred.
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles and their practical implementation
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with tax provisioning software (e.g. OneSource, Longview, etc.)
- Flexible and open-minded personality and "Hands-on" work mentality
- Well organized and hardworking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
