This role reports to the Senior Legal Counsel in the HQ Commercial Legal Team. Candidate must be a self-starter who has a keen interest in financial innovation, enjoys working cross-functionally and collaboratively to solve complex problems, and identifies with Crypto.com’s mission of ‘cryptocurrency in every wallet’.

Responsibilites

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including token listing agreements, software/cloud licensing and subscription agreements, vendor agreements, advertising and marketing agreements, research grant agreements, professional services agreements, insurance policies, NDAs, and leases
  • Collaborating with Procurement team to streamline procurement process and contract review cycle
  • Collaborating with Legal Ops team to develop legal tools and formulate policies and procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining template documentation, negotiation guidelines and know-how
  • Working closely with the global business teams to deliver effective support and provide pragmatic advice
  • Liaising with external counsels and other professional advisers
  • Providing training on legal tools, contract management and knowledge sharing
  • Performing other commercial legal related duties in alignment with strategic business plans and directions

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience providing legal support on commercial matters, gained in-house or with a private practice law firm, with exposure to technology services, financial services, cryptocurrencies, Web3.0 related matters, or general corporate and commercial practices
  • Excellent drafting and negotiating skills with a sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and to tolerate change and ambiguity
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under challenging circumstances
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high level of integrity and professionalism, and a real team player
  • This role can be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Hong Kong
