What you’ll be responsible for:
Reporting to the VP of Europe, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing high-impact strategic partnerships across the region. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from pipeline development to deal execution—ensuring strong alignment with Circle’s business objectives. In this role, you’ll drive regional OKRs by identifying, qualifying, and closing key strategic deals that accelerate Circle’s growth in Europe.
What you’ll work on:
Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships across Europe.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline building, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
Expand adoption of USDC and EURC through partnerships with banks, neobanks, remittance providers, fintechs, and enterprises.
Lead execution of commercial agreements, aligning partner needs with Circle’s product and platform capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable activation and growth programs.
Develop innovative partner strategies that leverage Circle’s assets and partner ecosystems to drive mutual success.
Operate with autonomy and initiative, navigating complex partnerships while staying aligned with Circle’s strategic goals.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements:
13+ years in business development, partnerships, or revenue-driving roles with a proven record of impact.
8+ years in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services with deep market knowledge.
Demonstrated success closing high-value deals with senior executives across diverse sectors.
Strong understanding of payments, cross-border transfers, embedded finance, and open banking.
Exceptional pipeline and project management skills across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Web3, blockchain, or digital assets is highly desirable.
Ability to lead bespoke, first-of-their-kind deals by collaborating with product, legal, risk, and compliance teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive-level influence.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and process-building environments.
Fluency in English; additional European language proficiency is a plus.
Willingness to travel across Europe up to 50% of the time.
Familiarity with Slack, MacOS, GSuite, and CRM/sales automation platforms.
