Overview
Our Insight Day is a one-day event, at our London office, to give students the opportunity to learn more about what we do and careers in Hedge Funds!
This program is aimed at first-year students enrolled at university. We invite you to come and meet our teams, discover more about what we do and explore internship opportunities within in trading, risk management, and quant finance teams.
During the day, you will hear from our traders, risk officers, and quant developers and meet our 2023 and 2024 global graduate classes. You will take part in lectures, case studies, problem-solving exercises, and a trading simulation!
The Insight program is devised to provide candidates with an invaluable education on the workings of a hedge fund and the regulatory environment. The program does not require prior knowledge, just an interest in exploring hedge fund careers at Brevan Howard.
The goal of our program is to give top performing candidates the chance to final round interview for a place on our to our 2026 Summer Internship Program in London.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A first -year undergrad / second-year of a four year degree at a recognised University and on course for a minimum of a 2:1 / 3.5 GPA – completed and awarded before August 2027
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Engineering or STEM related field
- Strong mathematic, quantitative and problem-solving capabilities
- Programming experience in Python
- A demonstrated interest and passion for financial markets, trading, risk management, quantitative finance and financial products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
