The Team:

Brevan Howard is currently searching for a highly motivated, organised and detail-oriented team player to join the Client Services Due Diligence team, sitting alongside the global Client Partnership team. The role supports strategic priorities and provides a high degree of visibility to many areas of the business including the global Investment Professionals team and senior management.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the Marketers’ fundraising / sales efforts, including the maintenance and creation of due diligence materials for both current and prospective investors, as well as ongoing business intelligence supporting the marketing efforts. The selected individuals will need to be adaptable with an eagerness to learn. Candidates should possess unwavering attention to detail, a high level of numeracy and literacy with the ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality RFIs and DDQs based on a well-researched understanding of a client’s requirements
  • Update and maintain external consultant databases
  • Assist in responding to DD-related emails/ queries from the Client Partnership team
  • Ensure the internal DD library/ repository is up-to-date and accurate
  • Update Brevan Howard’s suite of Standard DDQ Supplements
  • Ensure the RFP/ DD tracker is kept up-to-date, capturing all live requests
  • Work across functions to obtain and coordinate information from the respective teams in order to prepare materials and respond to ad-hoc requests

In addition to managing the core responsibilities, each team member will be expected to work on a number of projects in order to develop the team e.g. work on new fund launches, implementing processes to streamline tasks, content and idea generation.

Work Experience/Background:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent, in a finance / economics field is a plus
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a RFP / DD role within the consultant / alternative asset management sector

Technical Skills/Business Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organisation skills. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work effectively in an entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment. There will be multiple shifting priorities and deliverables for numerous team members and clients
  • High attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good written word and numerical ability
  • Self-motivated, proactive
  • Ability to perform well under pressure

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of RFP Databases
  • Prior knowledge of RFPIO is advantageous but not essential
