MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

A main feature of the role is front-end execution:

• Execute Crypto trades including spot/forward, term futures, perpetual futures and options for tokens
• Check blotters and trades in timely manner and update current holdings in a database
• Withdraw/deposit tokens between trading venues as well as custody solutions
• Gather, digest and communicate information flow from the market
• Gather relevant research and be on top of latest market developments

​Other features include coordination and cooperation of the work flow related to front-end execution. Standard hours will be 8.00am to 6pm with other such hours as are necessary to fulfil the role. Flexibility required as standard hours may vary depending on the business need linked to the market.

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:

Essential:

• At least 4 years’ experience on an execution desk and 2 years in crypto
• Literate in the pricing and execution of options
• Productive and proactive –understanding of price action and trade idea generation is a part of the role
• Ability and willingness to build relationships internally and externally
• Strong educational background with degree(s) in engineering or maths
• Comfortable with pricing derivatives

Desirable:

• An interest in crypto/digital asset classes
• An interest in defi

TECHNICAL / BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential:

• Front-end trading experience
• Strong analytical skills, able to analyse and report on complex data
• Advanced Excel and programming skills
• Knowledge of Bloomberg
• Code in python
• Code in VBA
