Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator is a crucial, high-visibility role reporting to the COO, responsible for serving as the central administrator of the DC office, managing all facilities, vendors, and day-to-day operations. This role also requires essential logistical coordination, necessitating an extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and analytical self-starter.
Role and Responsibilities
Office & Facilities Management
- Lead the administration of the DC Office, serving as the central point of contact for all facility, maintenance, and security matters to ensure a secure, clean, and well-maintained environment.
- Proactively manage all vendor relationships, office supply inventory, and ordering processes, ensuring seamless resource availability and operational continuity.
- Guarantee optimal staff and visitor experience by ensuring all necessary resources (supplies, functional equipment, welcoming conditions) are available for maximum productivity.
Organizational Events & Logistics
- Strategically coordinate high-profile events by collaborating with the Chief Operating Officer, Government Relations, and Industry Affairs teams to schedule and execute logistics for fly-ins, member company visits, and BA-sponsored DC activities.
Executive Support & Special Projects
- Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on key organizational needs, including staff onboarding, technology setup, and related requirements.
- Drive the successful execution of special projects and initiatives at the direct discretion of the Chief Operating Officer.
- Serve as a core organizational collaborator, maintaining an effective reporting relationship with the COO and fostering cross-departmental cooperation across the entire BA staff.

Compensation Information
- Salary Range: $90,000-120,000
- Possible salary increases and bonuses for strong performance
