How you can make an impact:

  • Support the VP of Marketing in crafting and implementing comprehensive social media strategies and policies across multiple Avara products.
  • Design, manage, and optimize multi-channel social media campaigns, ensuring clear execution against strategic objectives and maintaining a well-organized content calendar.
  • Coordinate closely with the Content Creator to plan and deliver high-quality short-form posts, produce video content and threads that drive engagement, especially around launches, news, and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a designer to ensure all social media assets are on-brand, visually compelling, and strategically aligned with campaign goals and Avara’s overall identity.
  • Adapt copy and assets as needed to fit platform best practices, optimising posts for reach and engagement.
  • Plan and manage daily posting schedules, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely, social-first content.
  • Stay responsive to emerging trends, memes, and cultural narratives - knowing when to jump in and how to do it in a way that feels authentic, native, and on-brand.
  • Build and maintain strong community relationships by actively managing direct messages, tags, and real-time audience engagement.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, reach, engagement metrics, and community sentiment to inform future social strategies.
  • Keep internal teams up to date on social media best practices to ensure everyone represents the Avara brand consistently and effectively.

  • You have 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a consumer app brand in fintech, and are an avid social consumer yourself.
  • You demonstrate strong copywriting instincts and know how to adapt posts for different channels and contexts.
  • You have experience planning and managing social media calendars, scheduling content, and coordinating approvals.
  • You’re comfortable working closely with a Content Creator, designers, and external partners to deliver high-quality, channel-ready assets.
  • You thrive on real-time engagement - managing DMs, comments, and community tags with a professional, authentic voice.
  • You have strong research skills and stay up to date on industry trends and competitor moves.
  • You are data-driven and comfortable using analytics tools to track performance, measure impact, and refine strategies.
  • You are organized, adaptable, and able to balance multiple channels and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in crypto culture is considered a plus - you know the trends, memes, narratives, and how to communicate them authentically.
