Location: We prioritise candidates who are based in Dubai then consider those working remotely in one of our European Hub Locations (UK, Spain or Germany).
As a Senior Product Owner at 1inch Labs, you’ll be at the forefront of decentralised finance innovation, driving product strategy and execution across our core protocols and user-facing platforms. You’ll lead agile teams in delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that push the boundaries of Web3.
This role demands a strategic mindset, deep DeFi fluency, and the ability to translate complex technical and market dynamics into actionable product outcomes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to align the product backlog with company goals and translate high-level vision into actionable deliverables.
- Act as the key bridge between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a common understanding of user stories, business context, and product goals.
- Lead and facilitate agile rituals, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Ensure continuous alignment across all teams to resolve dependencies and optimise the delivery of features.
- Strategically balance feature development with critical security, scalability, and compliance considerations.
- Monitor and measure product success using key performance indicators (KPIs), customer feedback, and DeFi ecosystem analytics to drive a data-driven approach to product development.
- Contribute to broader program rituals like exploration workshops and showcase events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in agile environments.
- Deep knowledge of DeFi, blockchain protocols, and smart contract technology.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact, user-driven products in a fast-paced startup environment.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, etc.).
- Familiarity with Web3 development tools (e.g., Solidity, EVM-based chains, smart contract auditing, dApp UX/UI considerations) is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools (JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.).
