Location: We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe. For this role, we prefer candidates who are either based in Dubai or working remotely within +/- 4 hours GST time.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects or initiatives are delivered efficiently and transparently by maintaining clear oversight of timelines, milestones, and deliverables. They manage risks and dependencies, proactively identify potential issues, and ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned through consistent communication and reporting. The role focuses on keeping projects or initiatives on track, facilitating collaboration across teams, and ensuring that progress is visible, documented, and well-managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines.
- Track progress against key deliverables and adjust schedules as needed to keep projects on course.
- Monitor the completion of project tasks and milestones.
- Ensure progress is documented, visible, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain transparency through regular reporting and dashboard updates.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies early.
- Maintain a risk register and ensure timely mitigation or escalation of issues.
- Support teams in problem-solving to minimize delivery impact.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project communications.
- Prepare and deliver clear updates on status, risks, and next steps to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate the efforts of team members to ensure smooth execution.
- Support resource planning and manage workload distribution across contributors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes.
- Provide management with concise and actionable summaries of project health, blockers, and achievements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing projects end-to-end, ideally in a cross-functional or technical environment.
- Proven ability to plan, track, and deliver projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
- Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing dependencies across teams.
- Demonstrated success in risk management and issue resolution during project execution.
- Background in reporting and communication to senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Scrum@Scale)
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Google Suite)
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a structured working style.
- Clear and proactive communication across all levels of the organisation.
- Comfortable managing change, uncertainty, and shifting priorities.
- Able to align different teams and personalities.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE2 Practitioner other recognised PM qualification.
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
